Racing into the virtual world, we have featured a number of high-end simulators that keep the adrenalin level rushing in utmost reality. The latest is the Atomic A1 motion game simulator from UK-based JoyRide. Delivering a truly exhilarating riding experience in a compact and robust unit, the Atomic A1 was lately launched at the GamesCom trade show in Germany. Designed for gaming and professional simulation training, the motion simulator can be flexibly integrated into a home entertainment system. The Atomic A1 can be used with any screen configuration, including a television, PC monitor and full immersion screen setup. The integrated Simphynity software gives riders access to over 60 games, including racing, flying and roller coaster games, without the need for a third party interface. The compact unit comprises a racing car seat, steering wheel, peddle controllers and a joystick.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of travel retailer DFS, Brown-Forman Duty Free/Travel Retail has come up with a unique idea. Brown-Forman commissioned artists from around the world to turn seven barrels of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whisky into amazing works of art. Master Distiller Jeff Arnett personally selected these seven barrels for DFS, and the artists include Mark Sampson & Andy Vella, Bryan Bowie, Dana Tomsa, Imin Yeh, Jeff Roland, Margaret Ho and Sheyna Baig. The barrel art is currently on display at DFS stores at seven airports (Auckland, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York JFK) until September 30, 2010.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz S600, the Brabus iBusiness four-seater luxury sedan packs in a range of multimedia features, including two iPads in the rear seats with Bluetooth keyboards and mouse, an ultra-small Mac minicomputer under the rear shelf and a 64GB Apple iPod Touch. The German super tuners have fitted the Mercedes S600 iBusiness with a 15.2-inch TFT display with 16:9 aspect ratio and USB 2.0 ports in the rear compartment to hook up peripherals to the Mac. You can connect to the internet via UMTS and HSDPA. The two iPads control the complete BRABUS multimedia system and the car’s standard S-Class COMAND system with all functions such as radio, navigation system and telephone.

Scottish artist Jack Vettriano, best known for his painting titled “The Singing Butler” that was sold at Sotheby’s in 2004 for about £750,000, is now offering a limited edition artwork to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Malcolm Campbell’s final World Land Speed record broken at Bonneville with a timing of 301.129mph in September 1935. The limited edition boxed-set of all seven images from “The Bluebird Collection” of paintings will be released on September 3, 2010. The collection includes seven prints signed and numbered by Jack Vettriano, a brochure telling the story behind the Bluebird paintings with Foreword by Donald Wales, a 12-pack set of Bluebird Collection cards and a signed copy of the A Man’s World book.

(NYSE: MOT), a pioneer in the mobile industry, today announced that DROID™ 2 by Motorola will be available for pre-sale on August 11. Hitting all the right keys, DROID 2 is a feature-packed device that helps manage work and social life with an enhanced QWERTY keyboard, ultra high-speed Web browsing, 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities, full push corporate e-mail, intuitive social messaging and Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1 for access to the full web – all built on Android 2.2.
